you've always been mistreated
They say that music descibes what words alone can not. Have you ever been in that situation where you have had a fight with your parents, your not sure if you are being taken for granted or your just overreacting or someone that you know has died and you know how you feel but you cant descirbe it to anyone, but when you listen to a certain song you feel like that is exactly how you feel.

As things go along I always seem to be in this situation where Its hard to describe how I feel and it sometimes makes the situation worse. So im counting down my favourite songs that words can not explain.

Number 5: Title and registration by Death Cab For Cutie

This song is beautiful and I think this song represents that sometimes you have to let people go who dont want the best for you and sometimes you dont always feel the same way forever.

Number 4: Unwanted by Kill Hannah

Sometimes you might be screwed over by your friends or your family and you think that you cant handle anymore but sometimes all you need is yourself.

Number 3: Lets dance to joy division by The Wombats

Like the lyrics say "everything is going wrong but were so happyy"!. This is quite a stong statement and I think that it can be completely true.

Number 2: Folkin around by Panic At The Disco

This is beautiful, I think it can describe how you feel about anyone, a friend, a partner or your mum. I dont think I know any other song that can describe your feelings for someone like this song can.

Number 1: Dance the way I feel by Ou Est Le Swimming Pool

This song I can describe myself everyday. Good or bad "well I just dance the way I feel".

So in the end I dont think we relise what music is to us, Music understands us and relates to us more than anything else.

So what do you think? have you ever felt where you could not figure out what to say or you didnt quite understand how to tell someone how you felt but a song did exactly that?

the end of trauma slowly setting in my body seems to stop and freeze
Charles Haddon, singer of English dance band "Ou Est Le Swimming Pool" has died yesterday (20th Agust). Charles who was only 22 years of aged committed suicide by jumping from a tower in a backstage parking lot at Belgium's "Pukkelpop Festival".

Ou Est Le Swimming Pool whos debut album that is due to be release in October was set to be apart of the lineup for this years Aussie Festival "Parklife" next month.

It is quite upsetting that such a talented young guy had to die in such a way, Charles and Ou Est Le Swimming Pool had such a good thing going for them and were slowly becoming the next biggest dance group.

Charles Haddon you will be deeply missed.

I feel so alive.
Its almost 2:30am and my skin still has goosebumps. I think that may be a good sign that the concert I just came back from was amazing!

Basement birds are a band formed by famous people in other bands in Australia. They created an album and 1 month later they went on tour. Some really talented and famous people such as Kevin (who is Bob Evans) and Kav (the lead singer of Eskimo Joe).

Their concert was quite unique compared to the others I have been too. As this group and rushed things quite alot and have set such a fast pace for the group there was quite a clumsy free feeling about this conert, like not much was planned and whatever happened, happened. I thnik this was such a effective aproach. The whole concert that just went under an 1hr and 1/2 was laid back and fun and the audience was quite entertained being involved and dacing to the Indie folk tunes.

Overall this was really a once in a lifetime experience as the basment birds are only a short term idea as everyone in the band is only filling in time before they go back to being serious about their own projects.

An amazing but about the night was after the concert the 4 members did a signing for fans who were willing to line up. Not long after the concert the 4 guys strutted out and sat down at a table waiting for us to give them something to sign. I almost died after Kav (who sings in my favourite band) signed my tshirt (that was eskimo joe) and my concert ticket and then after loosing my mind it was over and I was happy that I got to meet an Idol and someone who I look up to and adore his music. It was also exiting to go with a friend who is just obsessed as I was.

So in the end I was one of those lucky fans whos dream came true.
What a perfect night.

Do you have any amazing concert stories?

you smell of him, do we need to call the doctor?
If I said "Amy Meredith" youd say who?. But if I played you their second single "Lying" you would know who they are. This Australian "rock pop band" have had full coverage of their song though radio and TV. But It always has not been an easy road for Amy Meredith.

In 2007 Amy Meredith got signed, but they blew it when lead singer Christian Lo Russo heads of other comapines to a showcase. Their company found out and ditched them. But in late 2009 Amy Meredeth got signed again and produced their debut album "Restless".

Amy Meredith are touring Australia right now and are playing a show near you (if you live in Australia). And their 3rd single "young at heart" will be digitally released tomorrow (13th agust).

enjoy Amy Merediths most popular and most played song: Lying.

So what do you think? anoying song or a hit?

I'v met someone who makes me feel sea sick.
They say never judge a book by its cover, but what about never judge a band by its name?
The Wombats, sounds like a pretty good name for an Aussie band eh? So ofcourse coming from Australia myself I thought It was ridiculously hilarious that an Eglish band was named after an Aussie animal.

So after months and month and months of laughing at the name of this band I finally decided to actually check out this bands music.

The best way I can describe The Wombats is a cross between Vampire Weekend and the Arctic Monkeys. The Wombats have catchy almost "smart ass" lyrics that are quite clever.

The wombats first and only album (so far) is "The wombats proudly present: A guide to love, loss and desperation" that was released in 2007. As I have experienced first hand thease songs make you get up and dance and sing on the second listen to the album. Be warned some song (especialy kill the director and lets dance to joy division are really catchy).

So why not give this Indie pop band a listen?
Enjoy the video for "Lets dance to joy division".

we all want to be famous.
Scouting for girls new single "Famous" has been released. "Famous" is off scouting for girls second album "Everybody wants to be on TV" that was released at the start of the year.

Scouting for girls are a newish band from England with their first album "Scouting for girls" was released in 07. Im so exited that Scouting for girls are back and still making music with that catchy Indie rock pop sound. Scouting for girls have not changed a bit for their second album. Scouting for girls is a band that I think will bet bigger and more famous in time.

So why not check out "Famous" and all the other songs from the album "Everybody wants to be on TV".

Maybe im not the one your looking for.
Australia's newest super group "Basement Birds" have released their newest single and video "Not the one". This video was shot in just one day in Perth Australia.

This video I think is really cute and the song is great. This Indie Folk band have got the right aspects for catchy simple songs. With easy going melodies and sing a long lyrics "Not the one" is definitely a song that will get stuck in your head.

Why not check out the music video for "Not the one".
